From April 25 to 28, 2026, Beijing hosted the International Forum on Colour and Vision Science (IFCV 2026). LEDCube – Any SPD Simulator: your personal “light lab” The spectral power distribution (SPD) of a light source directly determines the colour of an object under that source. Even two sources with the same correlated colour temperature can make the same object appear different if their spectral compositions differ. This is the physical root of metamerism.
